He is best known for his 33-year tenure as the Carillonneur and Associate Music Director at the historic Kirk in the Hills Presbyterian Church in Bloomfield Hills\, home to one of the largest carillon installations in the world. \nEducational Background & Mentorship\n\nCarillon Apprenticeship: Studied under Dr. Frederick Marriott\, the legendary carillonneur and designer of the Kirk in the Hills instrument.\nGuild Advancement: Advanced to full Carillonneur status within the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA) in 1989.\nOrgan Studies: Trained under master organists Clyde Holloway at Indiana University and Ray Ferguson at Wayne State University.
